- Chattanooga State 6-1, Columbia State 0-2: At Chattanooga State, Kaleigh Wynne pitched and hit the nationally 11th-ranked Lady Tigers to their 20th TCCAA win, but then they couldn't solve a slow pitcher and fell to 20-2, 30-6 overall.

Wynne struck out nine batters and had a three-run homer and another RBI in the win, and Lillie McCrary was 1-for-1 with an RBI in that game and tripled and scored in the loss. Abbey White was the losing pitcher despite a four-hitter.

- Huntingdon 1, Covenant 0: At Montgomery, Ala., the host Hawks ended the Lady Scots' season in the eighth inning of game three in the USA South best-of-three first-round series.

Carsyn Stone allowed only four hits in 7 1/3 innings for Covenant (22-17). The fourth was a leadoff double by winning pitcher Raina Lanier in the bottom of the eighth. She went to third on a wild pitch and Stone walked two batters intentionally before Maggie Porter's sacrifice fly ended the game. Lanier was 2-for-3 and struck out 10 batters.

One of five players with one hit in defeat, Jordan Brett ended her Covenant career with a school-record 189.

- St. Andrews 5-1, Bryan 3-2: At Dayton, the Lady Lions salvaged a split in the home doubleheader and now are 16-18 overall and 10-4 in the AAC.
