University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's golf coach Colette Murray announced Thursday the addition of former University of South Florida standout Ashley Burke as an assistant coach. It is the first coaching job for Burke, who played one year on the Suncoast Tour after her 2014-17 USF career that included the championship of the 2015 Florida Challenge and seven other top-10 tournament finishes. The two-time All-American Athletic Conference selection had a 75.48 average for 126 collegiate rounds and tied the school record with a 66. Burke has played in three U.S. Women Amateur tournaments. "The thing I liked about her is she's a winner," Murray said in a UTC release. "Her energy with these five new players coming in will be a great help. She's going to be able to complement me and my coaching style while developing one of her own. She's in a good environment to do that."
