The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's basketball team announced its 2018-19 schedule this morning, highlighted by 15 games at McKenzie Arena and a trip to Michigan to face last season's national runner-up.

The Mocs start their season with an exhibition against NCAA Division II member Lee University on Nov. 1 before the season opener on Nov. 6 at Charlotte. The Mocs defeated the 49ers 64-50 in Chattanooga last season.

The home opener will be against Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 10. The Mocs will also play in a three-game round-robin tournament at South Alabama against the Jaguars, Southeast Missouri and Jacksonville Nov. 16-18 in Mobile.

The game against the Wolverines is on Nov. 23 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It will be the fifth meeting all-time between the two schools, with Michigan winning all four. The Wolverines last defeated the Mocs 72-61 on Dec. 4, 1999.

The Southern Conference opener is on Dec. 9 at home against Virginia Military Institute, which is followed by a three-game road stretch against Georgia State, Ole Miss and UT-Martin. That is one of three three-game away sequences for the Mocs, who finished 10-23 last season and will have 10 players who didn't log a minute for UTC on the 2018-19 roster.

The Mocs have 10 games against teams that participated in postseason tournaments, including four - Michigan, Georgia and UNC Greensboro - that were in the NCAA tournament.
