NAME YOU KNOW

Cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr., who entered Wednesday as the nation's top uncommitted prospect, should thrive from day one in an Alabama secondary that must completely be revamped after the departure of six players.

NAME YOU WILL KNOW

With six defensive backs now gone, including five who have been invited to next month's NFL combine, there is room for more than just Surtain. That's where cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis, a borderline top-100 national prospect, comes into play.

NAME YOU WILL MISS

Alex Leatherwood and Jonah Williams have given Alabama elite tackle signees the past two classes, but Nick Petit-Frere of Tampa, Fla., decided not to continue that string, picking Ohio State on Wednesday over the Crimson Tide, Florida, Michigan and Notre Dame.
