Cardinals report

Louisville is off to a 3-0 start under new head coach Chris Mack, although those wins have been against inferior competition. The Cardinals' attacking offensive style has led to a lot of fouls, as they have averaged 33 made free throws and 42.3 attempted per game, both numbers that rank third in the country. They're shooting 54 percent from the field.

Key matchup

The Vols will be challenged to defend well on the perimeter, keeping the Cardinals out of the paint and keeping Tennessee's big man out of foul trouble. Against lesser competition, Louisville has shot a respectable 37 percent from 3-point range, but it'll be interesting to see how it fares against a team with the Vols' size and athletic ability both on the perimeter and in the paint.
