Alabama landed its 23rd commitment for its 2020 football signing class Friday, receiving a nonbinding pledge from running back Kyle Edwards.
The 6-foot, 210-pounder from the New Orleans suburb of Destrehan is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com, which rates him as the nation's No. 346 overall prospect. Edwards also had scholarship offers from Houston, Kentucky, Louisville, Penn State and Utah.
Edwards is the second running back to commit to Alabama in this recruiting cycle, joining four-star prospect Roydell Williams from the Birmingham suburb of Hueytown.
The Crimson Tide's class of commitments is ranked second nationally behind Clemson.
