The Georgia Bulldogs signed 17 players Wednesday as college football's early signing period for 2020 began. Here are capsules of those signees:

QB Carson Beck

6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Jacksonville, Florida (Mandarin)

Beck quarterbacked Mandarin to a 7-4 record this past season, completing 136 of 278 passes for 1,843 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also rushed for 167 yards and six scores. The nation's No. 8 pro-style quarterback and No. 204 prospect overall in the 247Sports.com composite rankings, he committed March 3.

OT Austin Blaske

6-5, 280, Guyton, Georgia (South Effingham)

Blaske helped South Effingham's offense average 356.8 yards per game while also notching 18 tackles and a tackle for loss on the defensive line. He is the No. 42 offensive tackle and No. 524 prospect overall and committed Wednesday.

DT Warren Brinson

6-5, 290, Bradenton, Florida (IMG Academy)

Brinson collected 30 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks at IMG Academy, which went 9-1 this past season. He is the nation's No. 24 defensive tackle and No. 254 prospect overall and committed June 1.

S Major Burns

6-2, 175, Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Madison Prep Academy)

Burns helped lead Madison Prep to a 12-2 record this past season, averaging 35 yards a reception and returning an interception 75 yards for a touchdown. He is the nation's No. 11 safety and No. 155 prospect overall and committed this past Monday.

WR Jermaine Burton

6-0, 195, Calabasas, California (Calabasas)

Burton is originally from Atlanta, played at IMG Academy as a sophomore and amassed 40 receptions for 863 yards and 14 touchdowns this past season. He is the nation's No. 8 receiver and No. 52 prospect overall and committed Wednesday.

DT Jalen Carter

6-4, 305, Apopka, Florida (Apopka)

Carter played defensive tackle, tight end and punter for Apopka, collecting 64 tackles and 12 sacks for the 12-1 Blue Darters, and he has a personal best on the bench press of 395 pounds. The nation's No. 6 defensive tackle and No. 53 prospect overall, he committed May 20.

CB Jalen Kimber

6-0, 170, Mansfield, Texas (Mansfield Timberview)

Kimber had 18 tackles and two pass deflections this past season, and he has run the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds and posted a vertical jump of 42 inches. He is the nation's No. 8 cornerback and No. 124 prospect overall and committed April 17.

OT Chad Lindberg

6-6, 315, League City, Texas (Clear Creek)

Lindberg has been selected to compete in the Under Armour All-American Game and is also a track and field standout, posting a toss of 55 feet, 2 inches in the shot put. The nation's No. 17 tackle and No. 169 prospect overall, he committed July 28.

RB Kendall Milton

6-2, 215, Clovis, California (Buchanan)

Milton earned top running back honors at The Opening 2019 Finals before leading the Buchanan Bears to a 10-3 record. He averaged 8.7 yards per carry as a sophomore and 7.7 as a junior. He is the nation's No. 6 running back and No. 37 prospect overall and committed July 7.

WR Marcus Rosemy

6-2, 195, Fort Lauderdale, Florida (St. Thomas Aquinas)

Rosemy racked up 27 receptions for 467 yards and nine touchdowns for St. Thomas Aquinas, which went 14-0 and won the FHSAA Class 7A state title. He is the nation's No 6 receiver and No. 40 prospect overall and committed June 20.

OT Tate Ratledge

6-6, 322, Rome, Georgia (Darlington School)

Ratledge was a USA Today preseason All-American and is a Darlington standout in football, basketball and track and field. He is the nation's No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 36 prospect overall and committed May 13.

WR Justin Robinson

6-4, 200, McDonough, Georgia (Eagle's Landing Christian)

Robinson amassed 903 receiving yards - averaging 18.8 yards per catch - and 11 touchdowns while helping lead Eagle's Landing Christian to a 13-1 record and the GHSA Class A private championship. He is the nation's No. 48 receiver and No. 293 prospect overall and committed March 2.

OLB Mekhail Sherman

6-3, 234, Washington, D.C. (St. John's College High)

Sherman became a coveted prospect as a sophomore, when he amassed 51 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and seven sacks, and he is among the five finalists for the 2019 Butkus Award as the top high school linebacker. The nation's No. 2 outside linebacker and No. 18 prospect overall, he committed May 9.

WR Arian Smith

6-2, 180, Lakeland, Florida (Lakeland)

Smith hauled in 19 receptions for 382 yards and six touchdowns as a senior for Lakeland, which went 12-0 and averaged 44.9 points per game. He is the nation's No. 14 receiver and No. 72 prospect overall and committed Wednesday.

DT Nazir Stackhouse

6-3, 305, Stone Mountain, Georgia (Columbia)

Stackhouse helped lead Columbia to a combined 11-1 record in region play during his final two seasons. He is the nation's No. 26 defensive tackle and No. 259 prospect overall and committed Dec. 2, 2017.

OT Devin Willock

6-7, 330, Paramus, New Jersey (Paramus Catholic)

Willock helped Paramus Catholic average 202.3 rushing yards per game, and on defense he had eight tackles and a sack. He is the nation's No. 67 offensive tackle and No. 892 prospect overall and committed this past Sunday.

K Jared Zirkel

6-3, 185, Kerrville, Texas (Tivy)

Zirkel was 4-of-6 on field-goal attempts and 61-of-63 on extra-point tries for Tivy, the school that produced 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel and averaged 39.9 points per game this past season. He averaged 41.2 yards on punts this season and made a 59-yard field goal as a junior. He is the nation's No. 4 kicker and committed June 13.
