The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has continued its recent streak of having different players step up to lead each game. This time, in a 72-58 home win over Western Carolina on Thursday, it was Burns and Arianne Whitaker. Burns led the Mocs with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Whitaker added 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Coach Katie Burrows was able to get all 14 of her players in the game, with 11 of them scoring.

UNCG is 0-10 on the road this season, with its latest loss by nine at East Tennessee State on Thursday. The Spartans allowed the second-most points of the season versus the Buccaneers and lost despite 46 combined points from Soliman and Twitty. Soliman is second in the SoCon in scoring and leads the league in defensive rebounds per game with 6.2. UNCG ranks as one of the conference's top defensive teams, allowing an average of only 60 points per game and holding teams to less than 40 percent from the field.

The Spartans are one of the top rebounding teams in the SoCon. Boyd, Soliman and Twitty each average seven or more per game, so staying tough on the boards will be the game's biggest key for the Mocs. They also must pay special attention to Soliman, who has 52 made 3-pointers this season.
