NASHVILLE - The Tennessee women's basketball team has gone from struggling to streaking again.

Evina Westbrook scored 18 points and Rennia Davis had a double-double as the Lady Volunteers pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat Vanderbilt 82-65 in a Southeastern Conference matchup Sunday afternoon at Memorial Gymnasium. The road win followed back-to-back home victories against LSU and Florida.

The three-game winning streak has come immediately after the Lady Vols had lost six straight, their longest skid in nearly half a century. Tennessee also dropped six straight games in 1970.

At Vanderbilt (6-16, 1-8), Davis had 17 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks and two assists for Tennessee (15-7, 4-5), which outrebounded the host Commodores 56-31. Meme Jackson matched teammate Davis with 17 points and also had two steals and two assists, Mimi Collins scored 10 points and Zaay Green had 11 rebounds with seven points.

It's the second straight double-double and sixth this season for Davis.

Westbrook also had a team-leading five assists, and Kasiyahna Kushkituah had eight points and six rebounds in just 14 minutes. At the foul line, Jackson was 6-for-6, Westbrook 4-for-4 and Davis 5-for-6.

Tennessee outscored Vanderbilt 42-30 in points in the paint, 20-7 in second-chance baskets and 18-9 off turnovers. The Lady Vols led 16-10 after the first quarter and 35-26 at halftime but trailed 49-43 entering the final period, when they went 17-for-20 on free throws.

After Vanderbilt's Chelsie Hall made a pair of free throws to cut Tennessee's lead to 57-56 with 6:41 left, the Lady Vols scored 10 straight points and never looked back.

Mariella Fasoula scored 16 points with eight rebounds for Vanderbilt, but her only field-goal attempt of the second half came with less than two minutes remaining. Hall and Autumn Newby added 11 points each.

Tennessee - which started the season 8-0 before losing to Stanford, then followed that four consecutive wins before entering its slump - returns to competition next Sunday at No. 6 Mississippi State (21-1, 9-0).
