AGGIES REPORT

Texas A&M has been in the AP Top 25 for most of the season, most recently dropping out for two weeks in January. The Aggies have been led by Carter, the leading scorer in the SEC this season, but she has been flanked by Wells - whose production has jumped up by more than 11 points per game from her freshman to her sophomore season - and Johnson, the team's best post presence. Jones is not a great scorer but is second in the league in rebounding average at 11.3 per game.

KEY MATCHUP

Tennessee coach Holly Warlick said Wednesday that the most important thing for her team won't necessarily be taking away the production by Carter, who has averaged more than 22 points this season (though on nearly 20 shots per game). Instead, expect the Lady Volunteers to put plenty of focus on limiting the productivity of other Aggies. Carter will be heavily guarded, but if the Lady Vols can pressure her into quick shots, it could lead to opportunities to get the game out in the open floor, where Tennessee feels most comfortable.
