Jeremy Davidson
Jeremy Davidson

Former Bryan College soccer standout Jeremy Davidson is returning to the program as head coach. Davidson, whose wife (the former Tracy Stone) also is a Bryan graduate and whose daughter is a freshman at the Dayton school, is coming from Albany, Georgia, and Sherwood Christian Academy, where he has served in a variety of roles since 2011 and where his soccer teams have won three state titles and been runners-up five times. "What an honor it is for me to be able to return to Bryan College as the head men's soccer coach," he said in a school release. "My wife and I are so excited to be back. This school has shaped so much of our lives over the past 25 years, we can't wait to get started and begin pouring back into the school and into the lives of these young men. To be able to follow in the footsteps of coaches like Sandy Zensen, Joey Johnson and Drew Courtney is truly the chance of a lifetime for me." Davidson twice was a Christian college second-team All-American and three times a first-team all-conference player for the Lions in the mid-1990s. He went on to coach club soccer in and around Atlanta and served in Ukraine from 2004 to 2007 in Operation Mobilization's SportLink ministry.
