KNOXVILLE - Admiral Schofield became the second member of the 2018-19 Tennessee basketball team to be drafted Thursday night, going in the second round as the 42nd pick to the Washington Wizards by way of a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 6-foot-6, 241-pound Schofield followed former Volunteers teammate Grant Williams, who was selected 22nd by the Boston Celtics.

Schofield was a two-time All-Southeastern selection who finished his Tennessee career 15th in scoring (1,570 points) and 14th in rebounds in program history.

He improved as a 3-point shooter throughout his four-year career, from 30% on 83 attempts as a freshman to nearly 42% on 177 as a senior. He made 184 career 3-pointers, which ranks seventh all-time in school history, with 74 coming as a senior, when he averaged 16.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
