The Georgia Bulldogs may be a little low on quantity right now in terms of football commitments for the 2020 recruiting cycle, but they are sky-high on quality.

Georgia received a nonbinding pledge Monday afternoon from Jalen Carter, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound defensive tackle from Apopka, Florida. Carter is the No. 10 defensive tackle nationally and the No. 95 recruit overall, according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings.

"I am 100% committed to the University of Georgia," Carter posted on Twitter.

Carter is Georgia's 10th commitment for 2020 and the fifth from a top-100 player, joining outside linebacker Mekhail Sherman (No. 11) of Washington, D.C., offensive tackle Broderick Jones (No. 20) from the Atlanta suburb of Lithonia, offensive tackle Tate Ratledge (No. 39) of Rome and quarterback Carson Beck (No. 75) of Jacksonville.

Jones-Bell picks Tide

Alabama received a commitment Monday night from Thaiu Jones-Bell, a 5-11, 187-pound receiver from Miami Carol City High School. Jones-Bell is the nation's No. 22 receiver and No. 105 overall prospect in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.com's composite rankings.
