SUGAR BEARS REPORT
Central Arkansas, which won 12 games last season, will blend seven newcomers with five returning players in 2019-20. Sells is the leading returning scorer at seven points per game, but the Sugar Bears will start two junior-college transfers in the Trigg twins. Crawford has already worked her way into the starting lineup as a freshman.
KEY MATCHUP
For the second straight game, the Lady Volunteers will face an opponent that has a roster made up of mostly new players, which makes scouting this early in the season that much more difficult. This time, though, Tennessee coaches at least have game video of their team to see where a number of mistakes were made in Tuesday's 72-68 win at East Tennessee State. Focusing on themselves was likely a point of emphasis for the Vols on Wednesday, and cleaning up the mistakes such as turnovers and defensive lapses are going to be important against the Sugar Bears.
