Bradley Central senior Anna Walker signed a letter of intent Wednesday to join coach Katie Burrows and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team.

Walker, a 6-foot-1 forward, helped lead the Bearettes to the 2019 TSSAA Class AAA state title, averaging 13.9 points and 6.3 rebounds while also leading the team with 69 blocked shots (13 in three state tournament games), 48 assists and 66 steals. She also shot 36% from 3-point range and 78% on free throws.

Walker was named region and district tournament MVP after last season's tournament run and was a member of the Tennessee Sports Writers Association's Class AAA all-state team.

"Anna is our general on the court," Bradley Central coach Jason Reuter said in UTC's release announcing the signing. "She's worked very hard to get to this level of basketball. When I think of great players I've coached, Anna ranks in the top tier. As a coach, you can always count on Anna to do the right thing on and off the court."

* UTC also announced seven softball signees, including Coahulla Creek infielder R.J. Janke, who has been committed to the Mocs for three years.

Also joining coach Frank Reed's program are pitchers Kyle Coffin of Freedom High School in Tampa, Florida, and Reagan Lowrie of Logos Prep in Sugar Land, Texas.

UTC is getting four athletes with experience at multiple positions: third baseman/catcher Courtney Ball from Tattnall Square Academy in Macon, Georgia; Kendall Forsythe - who can play third, first and catch - from Riverdale in Murfreesboro; catcher/third baseman Liz Rodebaugh from Alabama's Dale County; infielder/outfielder Kailey Snell of Cascade in Wartrace.

* UTC also welcomed five volleyball signees: Sophia Bossong from Siegel in Murfreesboro; Sarah Flynn from Chattahoochee in Alpharetta, Georgia; Hayden McGee from Hebron Christian in Dacula, Georgia; Kate Neill from Providence Academy in Plymouth, Minnesota; Emma Perkins from Briarcrest in Rossville, Tennessee.

* The soccer program is adding Amy Rasmussen from Soddy-Daisy, Kiana Lane from Hardin Valley Academy in Knoxville and Emily Sanches from Siegel.

* The men's cross country team is adding Eric Mitchell from Beech in Hendersonville, while the women signed Allie Porter from Dickson County.
