Georgia has jumped from four to six football commitments for the 2021 signing class after receiving nonbinding pledges from offensive tackle Micah Morris and running back Lovasea Carroll.

All six Bulldogs commitments are from the Peach State, though Carroll now plays at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The 6-foot-1, 189-pound Carroll, who is originally from Warrenton, made his announcement Thursday via social media.

"I still will be taking all five official visits," Carroll said, "but as of right now, I know where I want to continue my football career."

Carroll is the nation's No. 8 running back, according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings, and the No. 122 prospect overall. He committed to South Carolina in late April of last year but opened up his recruitment in early September.

Morris, a 6-4, 316-pounder from Camden County High School in Kingsland, is the No. 11 tackle nationally and the No. 73 overall recruit. Before visits were shut down due to coronavirus concerns, Morris took trips in recent months to Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and Florida, and he was also considering South Carolina and Auburn.

Morris is Georgia's third top-100 national recruit, joining Bogart quarterback Brock Vandagriff (No. 12) and Woodstock athlete prospect David Daniel (No. 78).

Georgia's commitment crop is now eighth in the 247Sports team rankings. The Bulldogs are third behind Clemson and Ohio State based on the average rating per prospect.
