UTC ( 16-11, 7-7 SoCon) at The CITADEL (6-19, 0-14)

Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Charleston, S.C.

TV & Radio: ESPN+ & 97.7 FM/1070 AM

Storyline: On paper, this should be a fairly easy road win for UTC, but coming off a frustrating loss at Furman and with a critical game looming against Mercer, the Mocs have potential for drama in Charleston. The Bulldogs have lost 14 consecutive games and their once-vaunted offense has topped 70 points just once in eight games. UTC handled them at McKenzie Arena, 92-69, a month ago, putting five players in double figures, shooting right at 50% from the field and dominating the backboards (45-31). The Mocs have to shake off Saturday's 58-53 defeat at Furman, a game in which they did nearly everything right defensively but shot only 30%. Expect a lot of post-ups early from Ramon Vila and a quicker pace to the offense.

What's at stake? With four games remaining until the Southern Conference tournament and desperately wanting to avoid a bottom-four seed and the first-round game that goes with it, the Mocs can't let this one get away. There is still a clear path to a top-five seed.

Up next: The Mocs will be home Saturday for a crucial SoCon matchup with Mercer at 4:30.
