The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball program has picked up a commitment from wing/guard Leah Jones, a 6-foot senior at Northpoint Christian School in Southaven, Mississippi.

Jones led the Lady Trojans, who are from just over the state line near Memphis and compete in the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association, to a 23-5 record last season. She averaged 16 points, 9.6 rebounds, two steals and two assists per contest on the way to being named to the TSSAA Division II-A West all-region team.

She is the second player to commit to coach Katie Burrows' program for the 2021 recruiting cycle, joining guard Destiny McClendon, who made her nonbinding pledge in July. UTC is set to lose two seniors after the 2020-21 season — forward Bria Dial and guard Liz Wood.
