Tennessee welcomed more sizable news in men's basketball Thursday, when 6-foot-9, 230-pound power forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield committed to and then signed with the Volunteers.

Huntley-Hatfield, from Scotland, Pennsylvania, is a five-star prospect and the nation's No. 6 recruit in the 2022 signing cycle, but he elected to reclassify and became part of Tennessee's 2021 class. His addition occurred one day after the Vols landed Jonas Aidoo, a 6-11, 215-pound center from Liberty Heights in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The addition of Huntley-Hatfield vaulted the Vols to No. 2 in the 247Sports.com team rankings, behind only Michigan.
