Calhoun High School receiver Cole Speer became Georgia's 15th commitment for the 2022 recruiting cycle Thursday night.

Speer posted July 31 on Twitter that he had received a scholarship offer from Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart. After the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder's commitment, Smart released a "GO DAWGS!!" tweet.

According to 247Sports.com, Georgia was the first Power Five program to make an offer to Speer, who racked up 59 receptions for 1,159 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. The Bulldogs currently are fifth in the 247Sports team rankings, with Penn State, Notre Dame, Alabama and Ohio State the first four.
