David Watts couldn't produce a third straight round of 66, but his 3-under-par 69 was good enough for a one-stroke victory in the Chattanooga Men's Metro Amateur tournament Sunday at Moccasin Bend Golf Club. Watts edged Winston Brown, who closed with a 67 to finish at 14-under 202 and was two strokes ahead of Matt Crowder (70). Sport Allmond (69), Cody Godfrey (67) and Taylor Lewis (71) tied for fourth another stroke back, and first-round leader Ben Rebne - whose scorching 62 was offset by a second-round 75 - closed with a 69 to finish seventh at 206. The regular division's 51-man field was cut to 26 golfers after 36 holes, and Watts' win Sunday came a year after he finished sixth but just two strokes out of the lead. Other division champions were decided Saturday, when Mitch Hufstetler won the Senior title and Neil Spitalny the Super Senior crown.
