Former University of Tennessee at Chattanooga standout Emily McLennan was part of a three-way tie atop the leaderboard entering the final round of the Tennessee Women's Open at Stonehenge Golf Club in Crossville. McLennan shot a second straight 2-under-par 70 and was tied with Hannah Kim (72) and Maria Fernanda Lira Solis (70) on Friday at 4 under, a stroke ahead of amateur Hanley Long, who marched up the board with a 68 that led the day. Malia Stovall (75), who's from Winchester and is entering her freshman season at Tennessee, was tied for 24th at 150. St. Andrew's-Sewanee graduate Jenna Burris (79) from Manchester - a Middle Tennessee State teammate of Long's - was 34th and made the cut as one of the top 60 players in the field. In the senior division, Crossville's Jean Kraft (84) was fourth at 168, six shots behind leader Teri McAngus (81) and three behind Paula Pearson-Tucker (82) and Lynda Wimberly (83). Charleston's Maggie Scott (89) from Cleveland Country Club was seventh at 182.
