Chattanooga Lookouts rally past Birmingham Barons

J.T. Wise had an RBI single to right, Pedro Baez an RBI single to left and Kyle Russell a sacrifice to center in the seventh inning as Chattanooga broke a 4-4 deadlock and went on to win 7-6 on Wednesday in the the annual Rickwood Classic before a crowd of 7,180.

The Lookouts (27-26) trailed 2-0 entering the third inning before tying the game on consecutive doubles by Nick Buss, Luis Nunez and Blake Smith.

They trailed 4-2 entering the sixth before tying the game again on RBI singles by Jake Lemmerman and Matt Wallach.

Game four of a five-game series in Birmingham is tonight at 8:05 Eastern.

The Lookouts will make a game-day decision, as previously scheduled starter Nathan Eovaldi was promoted to Los Angeles and pitched Tuesday night for the Dodgers. Pedro Hernandez (6-1, 2.81) is scheduled for the Barons.
