Jose Moreno / Contributed photoThe Cincinnati Reds announced Tuesday evening that Jose Moreno will manage the Class AA Chattanooga Lookouts for the 2022 season.
Moreno will be accompanied by pitching coach Rob Wooten, hitting coach Eric Richardson and game planning/catching coach Nate Irving. Wooten is the only returning coach from last season's Lookouts, who posted a 58-54 record.
Also returning to Chattanooga will be strength and conditioning coach Trey Strickland, while Ryan Ross is the new athletic trainer.
Moreno is in his third season in the Reds organization, having managed Class A Dayton last season. Wooten pitched for the Lookouts in 2019 before turning to a coaching career, while Richardson is in his first season with the Reds after running his own select baseball organization.
