Baylor's Addison Smith to swim for Princeton

Baylor School All-American Addison Smith will be continuing her swimming career at Ivy League member Princeton University.

Smith, a 12-time NISCA All-American who also has been outstanding for the Baylor Swim Club, won the high school state 500-yard freestyle in 2018 and 2019 and qualified in January for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 400-meter freestyle. That came in the TYR Pro Series meet in Knoxville, where she finished 11th overall.

She was a Junior Nationals finalist in 2018.

A four-year Baylor boarding student from Knoxville, Smith holds the school record in the girls' 500 free.
