One of Tennessee's most dominant high school athletic programs continues to thrive.

Since 2013, no other school has more TSSAA wrestling team state championships than Cleveland's 12 (six duals, six traditional), and the Blue Raiders improved their duals record to 6-0 this season with Tuesday's 48-21 home win against Signal Mountain at the Jones Wrestling Center.

Cleveland and Signal Mountain were tied at 15 through the first seven matches before 152-pounder Robert Laxton got a 20-point streak started for the hosts with a 19-4 technical fall. After back-to-back wins by forfeit, the Blue Raiders built a 35-15 lead as Tetoe Boyd edged Preston Worley 5-3 at 182.

The Eagles received pins from Kevin Muschel (195) and Noah Shriner (120), along with decisions from three-time state champion Daniel Uhorchuk (126), Kale Albritton (138), 7-6, and Richard Shipley (145), 5-4.

Cleveland's Logan Fowler (106) started the match with a sudden death 3-1 victory, while Bentley Ellison (113) pinned his opponent for a 9-0 lead. The Blue Raiders accumulated 30 points from five forfeits.
