Rob Brown is having quite the senior football season for Trion High School, and the Bulldogs' top running back received a statewide player of the week honor Wednesday from Georgia High School Football Daily.

Brown received the recognition after rushing for 441 yards and seven touchdowns in last week's win against Mount Zion-Carroll. That followed a 290-yard performance with six touchdown runs and two catches a week earlier in a game called at halftime due to weather.

Earlier this week, the Times Free Press recognized Brown's performance.
