Blake Johnson was the seventh pitcher the Chattanooga Lookouts used Friday night at AT&T Field. He also drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 14th inning.

With the bases loaded and one out, Johnson slapped a single through the middle of the infield to send the Lookouts to their sixth straight win -- 5-4 against the Jacksonville Suns.

Johnson pitched two innings of relief to earn the win. After the Suns (21-27) scored two runs in the fifth, the Lookouts (25-23) held them scoreless for nine innings. Lookouts pitchers struck out 17, allowed seven hits and walked eight.

Friday's game was the fourth in the last eight for the Lookouts to go to extra innings.

In the 14th, Nick Buss was hit by a Josh Schmidt pitch, Luis Nunez singled and Blake Smith was intentionally walked. That set the table for Johnson's game-winner.

Five Lookouts had two hits each.

Lookouts starting pitcher Chris Withrow looked flawless in the first, striking out the side, but gave up an RBI single in the second.

Pedro Baez put the Lookouts up 2-1 in the bottom of the inning with a two-run home run. Smith made it 3-1 in the third with a shot to right field. The Suns answered with a run in the fourth on two hits.

The walks -- he finished with eight in five innings -- finally bit Withrow in the fifth. Following a one-out pass, the Suns had a batter reach on an error and then a double put Jacksonville up 4-3.

Withrow finished with eight strikeouts in five innings. He allowed four hits and four runs (three earned) and went 2-for-2 at the plate.

The Lookouts tied the game at 4 in the seventh when pinch-hitter Rafael Ynoa tripled to right, followed by a bloop single from Buss.

Trying to make something happen in the 11th, Ynoa dove for the bag at first and had to be helped off the field. He was replaced at second base in the 12th by Travis Denker. Center fielder Anthony Jackson left the game after the first inning with an ankle injury and was replaced by Buss.

Nathan Eovaldi (2-2, 3.18 ERA) is scheduled to start tonight's 7:15 game for the Lookouts, with Matthew Neil (0-0, 3.60) set to go for the Suns.
