With the win, the Generals clinched the opening series of the season three games to two.

Jackson made it 2-0 in the sixth when Jabari Blash led off with an infield single and scored on a fielding error by center fielder Jeremy Hazelbaker.

The Generals added two runs in the sixth on an RBI double to right by John Hicks and a triple to right by Melendres.
