Chattanooga Lookouts win fourth straight over Birmingham Barons

The Chattanooga Lookouts pieced together four consecutive one-out singles in the ninth inning Monday night to rally for an 8-7 win over Birmingham before an announced crowd of 2,509 at AT&T Field.

Chattanooga has won four consecutive games and is now 18-25 in the Southern League's second half.

Trailing 7-5 entering the ninth, the Lookouts got a leadoff walk from Darnell Sweeney before Bobby Coyle Jr. struck out. Scott Schebler, O'Koyea Dickson, Corey Seager and Daniel Mayora then collected singles, with Mayora's hit to right field scoring Dickson with the game-winner.

Birmingham took a 7-4 lead in the eighth inning on Grant Buckner's three-run homer to left. The Lookouts made it 7-5 later in the eighth when Mayora doubled and then scored on a groundout.
