Lookouts lose to Smokies

SMOKIES 6, LOOKOUTS 4

Saturday's recap: Tennessee starting pitcher Zach Hedges allowed one run on four hits in seven innings to pick up the win. T.J. White accounted for the only run off Hedges when he homered to left field in the fifth inning to pull Chattanooga within 3-1. The Smokies opened their half of the fifth with a Jason Vosler walk, a Yasiel Balaguert single to right and a Ian Rice walk to load the bases, and all three scored to give the Smokies their biggest lead at 6-1. The Lookouts dropped to 80-44 overall this season and to 38-16 in the second half.

Next up: Game five of a five-game series at Tennessee is this afternoon at 5:30.

Pitchers: Lewis Thorpe is scheduled to make his debut for Chattanooga after being called up by high Class A Fort Myers, with Adbert Alzolay (0-2, 2.32) scheduled for the Smokies.

Harrison played in 318 games with Chattanooga and tallied 132 RBIs, but his average had slipped from .240 two years ago to .230 last season to .178 this year.
