LOOKOUTS 4, BAYBEARS 2

Friday's recap: Chattanooga took a 1-0 lead on Andy Wilkins two-out home run in the top of the sixth and looked like it added plenty of insurance with Lamonte Wade's three-run homer in the seventh, also a two-out shot. But the Baybears, who finished the night 2-for-14 with runners in scoring position, added some excitement in the ninth on back-to-back, one-out RBI singles from Troy Montgomery and Zach Houchins. Lookouts reliever Ryan Eades was chased by Montgomery's hit, but Nick Anderson shook off giving up Houchins' by striking out the final two batters with runners on the corners. The Lookouts improved to 64-34 overall and 21-6 in the second half of the Southern League season.

Next up: Game four of five in Mobile is tonight at 8:05 EDT.

Pitchers: Fernando Romero (8-6, 2.82) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Grayson Long (5-5, 2.76) scheduled for the BayBears.
