Lookouts doomed by Jackson's seven-run second inning

GENERALS 13, LOOKOUTS 2

Saturday's recap: First-inning doubles by Brent Rooker and Zander Wiel staked the Lookouts to a 1-0 lead at Jackson, but Chattanooga's advantage was short-lived as 12 Generals came to the plate during their seven-run second. The Lookouts' disastrous half-inning included two errors and Kohl Stewart exiting without recording the third out. Chattanooga mustered a run in the third as Sean Miller scored on Nick Gordon's sacrifice fly, but the Lookouts had just six baserunners while committing five errors in the game. After seven straight wins, Chattanooga has back-to-back defeats.

Next up: Game two of a five-game series in Jackson is Sunday afternoon at 3:05 EDT.

Pitchers: Zack Littell (0-1, 3.86) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Alex Young (2-0, 4.80) scheduled for the Generals.
