There were cars given away by Chattanooga Lookouts officials and home runs launched by Jaylin Davis, but the Mississippi Braves spoiled the ending Saturday night in front of a packed house at AT&T Field.

Cristian Pache's leadoff triple to right field in the top of the eighth inning opened the doors to a four-run outburst as Mississippi broke free for a 6-2 win with an announced crowd of 6,387 there on "Used Car Night" as the Lookouts held their popular annual promotion for the 26th time.

Alejandro Salazar's two-run double to left highlighted the big inning for the Braves, who topped the Lookouts for the first time after losing Thursday's series opener and Friday night as well.

Salazar and Luis Valenzuela drove in runs during the second inning as Mississippi jumped on top, but the Lookouts pulled within 2-1 later in the second on a Davis homer to right. Another Davis homer to right in the fifth knotted the score at 2-2.

Davis, a 24th-round pick of the Minnesota Twins in 2015, collected his third hit of the night in the seventh when he doubled to left. It was the second three-hit showing in as many nights for the right fielder, who is now hitting .303 for the season.

The Lookouts fell to 17-24 in the Southern League's second half and to 53-57 overall with the setback.
