Wednesday's road recap: Cristian Pache's bases-loaded walk off Tyler Jay with no outs in the 10th inning propelled Mississippi to a second consecutive victory over visiting Chattanooga. The Lookouts took a 2-0 lead in the second inning when Jordan Gore tripled to left field to score Chris Paul and Brian Navarreto, with the Braves pulling even in the third on RBI singles by Travis Demeritte and Tyler Marlette. Chattanooga dropped to 20-30 in the second half of the Southern League season and to 56-63 overall this year.

Next up: Game three of a five-game series in Pearl, Mississippi, is tonight at 8 EDT.

Pitchers: Dietrich Enns (1-5, 5.27) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Enderson Franco (5-7, 3.89) scheduled for the Braves.

Transaction: Pitcher Lewis Thorpe, who had a team-high 21 starts for the Lookouts this season, was promoted to Triple-A Rochester (New York). Thorpe went 8-4 with a 3.58 ERA.
