Sunday's recap: Montgomery starting pitcher Sam McWilliams allowed three hits and one run in seven innings against Chattanooga while striking out eight. The loss by the Lookouts (34-29) coupled with Jackson's 10-9 win at Mobile dropped Chattanooga a game behind the Generals (35-28) in the North Division with seven games remaining in the Southern League's first half. The Lookouts took a 1-0 lead on Brent Rooker's one-out home run to left-center field in the first inning, but the Biscuits went ahead to stay in the fifth when Jake Cronenworth's double to center scored Peter Maris III and Thomas Milone. Edgar Corcino had the other two hits for the Lookouts.

Next up: Game four of a five-game series in Montgomery, Alabama, is tonight at 7:35 EDT.

Pitchers: Sean Poppen (0-2, 12.38) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Brandon Lawson (1-0, 3.60) scheduled for the Biscuits.
