Mississippi third baseman Daniel Lockhart scored twice and drove in two runs Tuesday night as the Braves posted a 5-3 victory over the Chattanooga Lookouts.

An announced crowd of 3,670 at AT&T Field watched the Braves improve to 5-5 and the Lookouts fall to 4-6.

Ibandel Isabel's home run to center field in the sixth inning pulled Chattanooga into a 3-3 tie, but Mississippi answered with two runs in the seventh, taking the lead for good when Cristian Pache reached on an error by Lookouts third baseman Gavin LaValley that enabled Lockhart to score. A Luis Valenzuela double to left field then brought home Pache to round out the scoring.

Lockhart had a two run-double to highlight a three-run fifth for Mississippi that put the Braves up 3-2.
