Chattanooga first baseman Ibandel Isabel vaulted into the Southern League lead in home runs Saturday night at AT&T Field, blasting a pair to lead the Lookouts past the Biloxi Shuckers 6-4.
An announced crowd of 5,565 on the popular "Star Wars Night" watched Chattanooga win its fourth consecutive game and move within a victory of .500 at 10-11.
Isabel's two-run homer to left-center field in the first inning was his sixth of the season and gave the Lookouts a 2-0 lead. Chattanooga extended its advantage to 4-0 in the fifth on Jose Siri's RBI double to left and Taylor Trammell's RBI single to left.
After Biloxi pulled within 4-2 in the top of the sixth, Isabel hit a solo shot to center later in the sixth for his seventh homer. An RBI double to right by Lookouts relief pitcher Ty Boyles in the seventh made it 6-2.
The Lookouts, who pounded out 11 hits, will go for their fifth straight triumph Sunday at 2:15 p.m. when they again host the Shuckers (11-12).
