Red Wolves stretch unbeaten streak to eight matches

The Chattanooga Red Wolves SC stretched its unbeaten streak to eight straight matches with a 1-1 draw on the road against Wisconsin's Forward Madison FC on Saturday night.

Chattanooga defender Nicholas Amponsah scored the tying goal in the 77th minute as Vangjel Zguro picked up his sixth assist of the season on a corner kick.

Amponsah delivered on the back line with a key interception late as well to help aid a strong performance by keeper Alex Mangels, who had numerous diving saves.

The Red Wolves (6-4-6) have now tied in three straight matches and have 24 points for the season, fourth in the USL League One standings.

Their next game is July 27 against FC Tucson at Chattanooga Christian School's David Stanton Field.
