SHUCKERS 4-6, LOOKOUTS 3-2

» Monday's road recap: Second-half woes continued for Chattanooga (8-15) with two more losses, extending its streak to eight. Resuming play from Friday's suspended game down by three runs in the fourth inning, the Lookouts fell one run short with a late rally. Biloxi closer Nate Griep picked up his 16th save by leaving the bases loaded. In the second game Chattanooga starter Reiver Sanmartin gave up only one hit in 5 1/3 innings, but a five-run sixth for the Shuckers provided all the damage needed in the seven-inning game. The Lookouts' Mitch Nay reached base five times with three hits and two runs scored. Nay is now third in the Southern League with a .313 batting average and is hitting .381 with a 1.121 OPS in the second half.

» Next up: A doubleheader will complete the now five-game series with first pitch at 6:35 p.m. EDT.

» Pitchers: Tony Santillan (2-6, 4.98 ERA) is scheduled to start the first game for the Lookouts, with Jorge Guzman (4-8, 3.93) scheduled for the Shuckers. Chattanooga will go with Scott Moss (6-3, 3.23) in the second game, with Biloxi's starter TBD.
