» Tuesday's recap: Chattanooga was limited to five hits by Birmingham's Matt Tomshaw and Danny Dopico in falling to 9-22 in the Southern League's second half. The Barons (18-11) scored the game's lone run in the sixth inning when Nick Madrigal scored on Gavin Sheets' one-out single. Scott Moss fell to 6-5 with a tough-luck loss after going 5 1/3 innings and allowing four hits while striking out eight. Stuart Fairchild had two of the Lookouts hits, with Madrigal, Blake Rutherford and Sheets getting two hits apiece for the Barons. Tomshaw worked seven innings for Birmingham and allowed four hits and a walk and struck out 10. Dopico pitched the final two innings and worked around a ninth-inning Jonathan India walk and stolen base to earn his fourth save.
