Lookouts split doubleheader with host Biscuits

» Saturday's road recap: Chattanooga and Montgomery split a pair of scheduled seven-inning games, but the first contest went into the ninth inning before the Lookouts broke a 3-3 tie with a seven-run outburst. Chris Okey tripled into left field to score Brantley Bell and Gavin LaValley to break the deadlock, and an Alfredo Rodriguez triple to right that scored Okey and Michael Beltre made it 7-3 in Chattanooga's eventual 10-4 victory. Bell hit his fifth home run of the season with a drive to left in the second inning of the opener that put the Lookouts up 1-0. The Lookouts (36-32) were blanked in the second game, as Tyler Zombro, Blake Bivens and Ivan Pelaez combined on a two-hitter. Kevin Padlo accounted for the only scoring with a two-run homer to left-center field in the first inning.
