The Chattanooga Football Club had its first look at its future professional soccer league in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Stumptown Athletic in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In a break from National Premier Soccer League Members Cup action, CFC forward Felipe Oliveira scored in the 26th and 56th minutes for a 2-0 lead in the National Independent Soccer Association exhibition. Luck turned Oliveira's way after he had one shot hit the crossbar and another cleared just before crossing the goal line in the opening 24 minutes.

Stumptown got even by the 64th minute on a penalty kick and a long pass that resulted in a two-touch score.

CFC, which has played a club-record 31 matches in 2019, will welcome Stumptown to Finley Stadium for a 6 p.m. kickoff next Saturday. CFC will conclude its long season and NPSL run at home against the Milwaukee Torrent on Oct. 26.
