Red Wolves drop road match to Lansing Ignite FC

The Chattanooga Red Wolves Soccer Club lost 4-3 to Lansing Ignite Football Club in Michigan on Saturday night.

The winning goal came from Tumi Moshobane to the back left corner in the 90th minute for his ninth goal of the USL League One season.

Five goals were scored in the first 30 minutes, and Chattanooga's Greg Hurst made it 3-all in the 54th minute as he slid his second goal of the game into the right-side net off an assist from Conor Doyle.

The Red Wolves (8-8-9) fell to sixth place in the league standings, while Lansing (12-5-9) kept its firm hold of second place.

The Red Wolves are three points back of Forward Madison and four back of Greenville Triumph for the fourth and third spots with three matches left in the regular season. They will be back at Chattanooga Christian School's David Stanton Field for the next three Saturdays with Orlando City B, Richmond and Toronto visiting.
