The Chattanooga Football Club opened the NISA Fall Tournament with a 2-0 victory over LA Force at Detroit's Keyworth Stadium on Tuesday night.

Chattanooga FC scored both goals off corner kicks as Sean Hoffstatter headed in the opening goal in first-half stoppage time off a corner kick from Kyle Carr. Hoffstatter also provided a pivotal header to assist a goal from Zeca Ferraz in last Wednesday's regular season finale victory over New Amsterdam.

Alec Reddington provided the clean sheet in goal, while Darwin Lom provided all the cushion needed scoring off a rebound after Nick Spielman's header was deflected following another Carr corner kick.

CFC earned three points and will now take on the New York Cosmos on Friday at 5 p.m.

The top two teams in both Group A and Group B of the eight-team round robin tournament will earn trips to the semifinals round in Detroit, which will be played on Sept. 30.
