Chattanooga FC cruises at Savannah; Red Wolves strike late to earn draw at North Texas

Markus Nagelstad scored twice as the Chattanooga Football Club won 4-0 against the Savannah Clovers of the United Premier Soccer League on Saturday night in Georgia.

Nick Spielman and Cameron Woodfin added goals for CFC, which improved to 2-0 in Independent Cup action and next faces Appalachian FC in an exhibition match Wednesday in Boone, North Carolina, before returning to Independent Cup play against Soda City FC at 7:30 p.m. next Saturday at Finley Stadium.

Late is enough for Red Wolves to tie

Ray Ortiz scored in the seventh minute of stoppage time as the Chattanooga Red Wolves secured a point in the USL League One standings with a 1-all draw at North Texas SC on Saturday night.

The Red Wolves are home for their next match, against the Greenville Triumph SC at 7 p.m. next Saturday.
