Suzuho Yamasaki scored two goals as the Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves won their home opener in their first match at CHI Memorial Stadium, defeating North Alabama Soccer Club 4-0 on Sunday night.

The East Ridge venue that is also home to the Chattanooga Red Wolves men's team opened last summer, but the Women's Premier Soccer League did not have a 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, and so the Lady Red Wolves are back on the field for the first time since their inaugural 2019 season.

Former Soddy-Daisy High School standout Summer (Lanter) Hernandez and Hannah Tillet also scored for the Lady Red Wolves (2-1), who host Peachtree City MOBA at 7 p.m. Friday.
