Markus Nagelstad scored twice, but the Chattanooga Football Club couldn't hold on to a two-goal advantage and lost 3-2 to the Los Angeles Force in a National Independent Soccer Association semifinal Wednesday night at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck, Michigan.

Los Angeles (7-2-0) moves on to face host Detroit City FC (6-0-2) at the same venue Saturday.

CFC (2-5-2), on a streak of five matches without a win, will next face Appalachian FC on July 7 before playing Atletico Atlanta in the first game of the NISA Independent Cup on July 10.

Lady Red Wolves' match called off

The Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves' rescheduled match against Southern Soccer Academy on Wednesday night was canceled due to weather.

The Lady Red Wolves (6-1-1), currently one point behind Nashville Rhythm FC in the Women's Premier Soccer League Southeast Conference standings, are back home July 11 in the regular-season finale against the same SSA team at 7 p.m. at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge.
