Chattanooga FC's late goal not enough in home loss to Cal United

Brian Bement scored his sixth goal of the season, but the Chattanooga Football Club lost 2-1 to the California United Strikers FC on Thursday night at Finley Stadium, four days after the teams played to a 1-1 tie on the West Coast.

Chattanooga FC dropped to 3-5-2 in its National Independent Soccer Association fall schedule with Thursday's loss, while Cal United improved to 5-2-4 with goals in the 60th and 71st minutes.

James Kasak had the assist in the 90th minute for CFC, which is on the road for matches against the Michigan Stars FC on Oct. 17 and Chicago House AC on Oct. 20 before hosting New Amsterdam FC on Oct. 23.
