Chattanooga FC loses in Michigan

James Kasak netted his first goal of the season, but the Chattanooga Football Club fell 3-1 to the Michigan Stars FC on Sunday and dropped to 3-6-2 in its National Independent Soccer Association fall schedule.

Kasak scored in the 70th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1, but host Michigan (5-4-4) added a third goal minutes later and Chattanooga FC lost for the second straight match.

CFC remains on the road for its next match, Wednesday against Chicago House AC (3-6-2). Each team has 11 points in the standings, ahead of only San Diego 1904 FC in the 10-team league.
